With regards to the further expansion of the DACH Region our client is now seeking for a Procurement Director (f/m/d) leading the local scouting for suppliers.

Your tasks
- Leading the procurement activities of the DACH unit, mainly focused on procurement activities of Human health, Animal health, Beauty care, Medical Care, Orphan drug, Hospital lines, Unlicensed Medicine and Shortages
- Managing and developing procurement related activities and ensure the local regulation requirements and group policies are duly performed
- Perform local scouting for suppliers including manufacturers, wholesalers, and pharmacies
- Build a long-term sustainable pipeline of deals
- Manage deals with own expertise
- Manage local procurement of drugs and auxiliary materials
- Monitor and review all activities for compliance in accordance with all regulatory requirements, including but not limited to all GDP, GMP guidelines
Your profile

University degree with a focus on life-sciences or comparable
-
5 to 10 years in a leadership position (Manager, Director) in pharmaceutical sales or purchasing

Good understanding of the commercial supply chain, process improvement, project management
-
Commercial attitude
-
Detailed and process-oriented as well as great time management

Teamwork spirit

Fluent German and English compulsory
