Ilka is a seasoned personnel and management consultant with a passion for finding and onboarding outstanding employees. She combines a deep understanding of human behavior and organizational dynamics to advise companies on talent acquisition, retention, and development strategies.
Before she started working as a Senior Executive Advisor for Friedrichs & Partner / Kestria Germany, Ilka Sauer held several leadership positions in the HR field, including Director of Human Resources & Talent for DACH at Mediabrands (Interpublic Group Inc. N.Y.) and Director of Human Resources at Ipsos (Ipsos SA France). Her career also includes leadership positions at DDB Tribal Group and BBDO Proximity (Omnicom Group Inc. N.Y.), as well as Uniplan International and Westka Interactive (VIVA Media AG).
As a Certified Professional Coach (ICF) and executive coach, Ilka is driven by a desire to help people unlock their full potential and create environments where teams thrive. She enjoys mentoring young professionals and is dedicated to lifelong learning and personal development. Outside of work, she spends her time reading, traveling, connecting with nature and advise clients as an epigenetic and health coach. Ilka’s approach is guided by sustainability and courage, striving to make a positive impact in every organization she partners with.
