At the beginning, the focus of Career Transition Advisory is not on optimizing application documents, but on realistically assessing the next professional options - consistently from the market’s perspective.
 

Together with our client, we analyze which leadership roles, executive levels and company situations are genuinely suitable. What matters is not only what the executive has done so far or personally aims for, but how companies and decision-makers would assess the individual profile in real selection processes.

Our focus is on evaluating or defining:

  • realistic target roles and areas of responsibility
  • suitable organizations and company cultures
  • critical factors such as seniority, industry logic, job history and current market demand
  • relevant company situations such as growth, restructuring, transformation, internationalization or succession
  • possible alternatives beyond traditional career paths, e.g. interim management, advisory roles or an entrepreneurial new start through self-employment, founding a company or acquiring a company

Credible and consistent positioning in the market as well as clear prioritization of the next professional options.

Structure:
During the first 4 weeks, regular sparring sessions take place. Focus is on evaluation and clarification of suitable roles, suitable organizations, realistic areas of responsibility and a convincing assessment of the executive’s own profile.

Result after 4 weeks:
The executive knows which next roles are realistic, suitable and strategically meaningful. They have a clear Executive Search-based positioning and a robust target strategy for further market activity.
